I met this baby the day he got back from the hospital.
His name is Makai, and it's amazing to see how fond of him God is :)
I'm so blessed to call Hanna and Joey (the parents) my brother and sister in Christ, and it's mind-blowing to me that they're parents now. But dude...God made the perfect parents for this boy. He works in really grand ways.
Makai is absolutely in love with Hanna. Every time she holds him and looks him in the eyes, he's like...mesmerized. Hahah. It's funny. He'll be all fussy and crying, and Hanna will take him and *poof* all the troubles in his world disappear.
He looks just like his dad, too. They even make the same faces sometimes, it's sooo freaking hilarious. Seeing Joey be a dad is funny.
This baby is a seriously great gift from God.
God made Makai perfect and beautiful, and someday this little baby is going to turn into a wonderful man of God.
But that's getting a little far ahead, don't you think? He's only a week old, after all ;)
