Your laughter dances around my ears. Your happiness is like a flame; it consumes all thoughts that had come to be, were there in creation, had come to pass. Its heat radiated and showered my heart with a wave of joy, so overwhelming that my lungs sputtered out inaudible chuckles in response. Salty tears which couldn’t be held back escaped from beneath the closed lids while we could almost hear the warm blood that flowed like rivers away from our hearts and up into our cheeks, dispersing throughout the skin.
Your liquid eyes, which were barely visible from between the crevices of your jubilance, met with my own and we tried in vain attempt to catch our breath which escaped from us like bandits on the loose, running off into the sunset.
“Everything is going to be alright,” I thought as I took advantage of the moment in which your arms were weak from laughter to deliver another playful blow from the pillow that I clung onto with my fingertips. Everything is going to be alright.
