It's absolutely not perfect.
In fact,
It's far from perfect.
Gosh, I'm always so cliche in my posts.
I mess up a lot.
One of my friends told me of an analogy once.
People who know Jesus aren't the perfect people,
we don't have "goodness" down pat.
The human population...is just a bunch of beggars.
And people who know Jesus are just those beggars that found bread
and want to show the others where they found it,
so those beggars can be fed too.
We all need grace.
We're all broken
We all fall.
We're all weak,
And leaning on ourselves is not going to work
have you ever physically tried leaning on yourself?
It doesn't work. You end up falling over and your shoulder hurts cause you hit the ground too hard.
The only one strong enough for us to lean on is Jesus.

I fall. Constantly.
This past week, I walked away from God on more than one occasion.
I chose something that was not him
and it got me into a huge pile of stinky consequence.

And just like a Dad who sees his daughter run away,
it hurt God's heart.
it hurt God's heart.
But I came running back to Him and He took me back into His loving arms
not just willingly, but with adoration and love and rejoicing.
not just willingly, but with adoration and love and rejoicing.
I'm not some perfect girl who has it all together.
I'm a girl who has been saved.
I'm a girl who has been saved.
