I'm so forgetful, but You always remind me.

The past few days have been eventful in the very least.
Yesterday, I was on the top of the world (not so sound cliche or anything).

Today...pretty much the opposite.
But it's days like these when I get to see how much I really need Jesus.
I am not perfect, no matter how good I think I am.


My mind and my heart can be so momentary.
I like to compare my heart to a jackrabbit.
It darts every which direction.
End metaphor.

God is the only constant.
He's the only one that brings me peace in storms like these.
The only one who assures my heart and quiets my soul.
Whispers hope into my ears. 


I'm so forgetful, but He always reminds me that He's the only one that brings me peace.
