For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.

i'm certainly in the blogging mood lately.

Plus I have nothing to do right now besides wait a half hour for study hall to get over.
So be prepared for a few posts.

As my friend Joey said recently, "I hate to say it, but this weather is getting to me."

Seriously.
This morning I looked outside
and it was some horrid mix of rain and snow.
Paired with the cold and the wind, it just all equaled out to a big blob of terrible.

I rolled over quietly, moaning in frustration as my face hit the pillow once more.

Where are you, summer?
I miss you.
I miss your warmth on my shoulders, and the sun's light on my face.
I miss laughter and ultimate frisbee and shorts and bare feet and rolling down the car windows when I'm driving.
I miss waking up to the orange sunrise and hearing the sounds of dry leaves rustling together through my bedroom window.
I miss sleeping out on my lawn and eating strawberries out of my mom's garden and laying on the warm pavement like a freaking gecko.
I miss yellow, and journals, and bright green grass, and outdoor acoustic jams.

If you were to know anything about me, know this:
I think the love of the sun is encoded into my DNA.
I know some people love rain, some people love the ocean, and some people love computers.
I love the sun.

And this weather, therefore, is not acceptable to me.
